Matt Gabriel and James Crow first met while working at Advoco and have been leading in the EAM space for years. They launched Tech Wheelhouse to reimagine what’s possible, turning complex challenges into lasting solutions. Backed by a powerhouse team with over a century of EAM experience, they’re focused on helping clients with the tools and expertise they need for better data and decisions.

Matt Gabriel

Partner and Co-Founder, Tech Wheelhouse

Meet Matt

Matt Gabriel brings a decade of experience helping companies unlock the full potential of their EAM systems. Before co-founding Tech Wheelhouse, he held roles in sales, business development, and consulting at both global firms and high-growth tech companies. At Tech Wheelhouse, Matt leads sales, marketing, and customer success—ensuring every client feels supported, understood, and set up to thrive.

He’s a Clemson grad with a passion for problem-solving and is inspired by the power of positive leadership to drive real results. Outside of work, you’ll find Matt outdoors hunting, fishing, or teeing it up for 18 holes. He lives in Greenville, SC with his wife, Lillie, and their son, Reeves.

James Crow

Partner and Co-Founder, Tech Wheelhouse

Meet James

James Crow is the co-founder and technical lead of Tech Wheelhouse, where he oversees innovation and solution delivery. With a background in enterprise IT leadership and service in the Marine Corps, James brings a rare mix of strategic thinking and hands-on expertise. He’s passionate about making EAM smarter, more intuitive, and more impactful for clients.

James is inspired by the principles in Leaders Eat Last by Simon Sinek and believes the best leaders serve others first. Outside of work, he enjoys tackling home projects or relaxing at the beach with his wife, Diana, and their daughters, Harper and Presley.
