Did you know there are new and interesting features for Documents added to 12.2?

Security features added to Enable Document Authorizations on Uploaded Documents

• New install parameter - DOCUAUTH

• Enables document authorizations for uploaded documents

  • YES - Document authorizations enabled

  • NO (default) - Not enabled

• Documents screen and document related tabs

  • Documents Associated, Documents List, Document Preview Sidebar, and Comments

Administrators can enable additional controls over documents for query, update, insert and delete via the user group for the user and classification of the documents.

Configuration is needed to use this feature. All documents must have a class. To achieve this, update all existing documents, make the class field mandatory on the document screen and with flex.
