EAM’s already impressive checklist functionality got even better with the introduction of Dynamic Checklists!
This feature allows specific “follow-up” checklist items to be hidden until one or more conditions are met. These conditions are evaluated while the other checklist results are entered, and if TRUE, the hidden items will be revealed once the results are saved.
With the release of version 12.1, two new tabs were introduced on the Task Plans screen:
Dynamic Checklist
Dynamic Checklist Conditions
How does it work?
1. Create checklists on the Checklist tab, as you normally would. Take note of which items will be conditional.
2. On the Dynamic Checklist Conditions tab, you may create conditions which can be evaluated against your checklist results.
These conditions will determine if the follow-up checklist items are revealed or kept hidden.
Example Conditions:
Yes/No question answered as No
Finding = POOR
Value > 100
3. On the Dynamic Checklist tab, you may assign conditions to follow-up checklist items.
If a condition evaluates as TRUE, then the checklist item will be revealed on the Work Order. Otherwise, it will stay hidden.
One to Many relationship, both ways:
One condition may be assigned to many checklist items
One checklist item may be assigned to many conditions
4. That’s it, now your new dynamic checklist is ready for use on a Work Order or Operator Checklist! When checklist results are saved, any corresponding hidden checklist items will become visible.

Reduce checklist clutter while creating a more fluid workflow by implementing Dynamic Checklists!
